Hydraulic Controllers

Two controllers,
one philosophy.

Both controllers drive Danfoss PVG 32 / PVG 120 proportional valves. Choose the original Type 1 with separate speed dial and direction switch, or the newer Type 2 with a single 300° rotary control.

The original - Type 1

Rotary speed +
3-position switch.

Twenty years in service. Independent forward / off / reverse switch and a rotary dial for speed. The proven choice.

Newer - Type 2

One continuous
300° rotary dial.

Speed and direction in a single arc, with a centre-rotation OFF sector. Adds Danfoss Plus 1 PLC support.

Compatibility

Both drive
Danfoss PVG.

Type 1 and Type 2 are designed to electronically activate Danfoss PVG 32 and PVG 120 proportional valves.

Type 2 adds compatibility with the Danfoss Plus 1 PLC system - useful where you're integrating a controller into an existing PLC-driven hydraulic platform rather than driving a valve direct.

Both can replace the Danfoss PVREL joystick on installations where a dedicated, marine-grade input is preferred to a generic joystick.

Which one for your boat?

Pick Type 1 if…

  • You want the proven, 20-year-in-service design
  • A separate dial + switch suits the way the operator works
  • Your install is a direct PVG 32 / 120 setup, no PLC

Pick Type 2 if…

  • You'd rather have one control surface for speed + direction
  • You're tying into a Danfoss Plus 1 PLC system
  • You want the latest design with the centre-OFF rotary
